    The pvc in the floor is for the Polaris Caretaker infloor cleaning system. The water feature has its own intake to a 1hp pump that is returning to the water feature. That way the water feature can run independently from the pool. My decking is black cherry flagstone. The step in the deep end...

    Swap Cartridge for Sand?

    Get the sand and dont look back. I feel that the sand is easier to maintain. I only need to backwash 3-4 times a year and it takes about 5 minutes to do. If you stay with a cartridge then get an extra set of filters so you can clean them on your own time while the new ones are in the filter.

    Flagstone Coping

    I have had flagstone coping for over 10 years and have never sealed it. Unless you put an acrylic sealant, which will make it shiny, you will always be resealing. You really dont gain much except some sore muscles by sealing. The sealing will buy you a few minutes to clean up spills. I have...
