Both venturi valves were closed(2nd pic, 2 valves on left closed). Main drain closed on suction line. Hope that makes sense.

Yes. Both skimmer valves open with the venturi valves(2nd Pic, left 2 valves) closed

First time adding de but according to owner that's where the previous company add de. Rpm was set to max and de was mixed with water in a chem bucket before I add to skimmer. Fixing to stop by today and check if there's anything I missed.

Hello everyone, anyone familiar with the venturi skimmer? I did a backwash and closed off the valve to the venturi before I add DE to the skimmer but there was no suction to either of the skimmer. Am I missing something? Below are pics of the equipment. Thanks in advance!
