How to switch from Enviroswim to SWG or Chlorine

I have read the pool school stuff - awesome, which should not be a problem, but should I be aware of anything? Can anyone foresee any problems with the residual copper (0.2ppm) in my pool whilst trialling liquid chlorine? I cannot remove the water as I am just about out of tank water...... we...

How to switch from Enviroswim to SWG or Chlorine

Hi, I am nearly converted....... As a trial to stop my pH increasing I would like to try my pool possibly on liquid chlorine. I think this can be done with just turning off my Enviroswim system and adding the liquid? I think I will not have to replacing anything for the short term? If this...

I know most people here dislike them... but, Before you post a reply - can this thread please be about people who have this kind of system and not about the negativities - unless you own or have owned one. For the owners - please give me your thoughts. Avo1

    pH keeps rising

Thanks JamesW, The pH must be low for this system. They spruik no more red eyes and the ability to look under the water with any pain or something like that. From what I can gather the eye pH is about 7.3 so it will need to be around this. Please re read my original post, it says I have tried...

    pH keeps rising

Thanks JoyfulNoise, I do not want to argue about the sanitising system unless you think it is the reason to my problem. It is all too late - it is installed and what I have. I have already tried total Alk at 30ppm, the one thing I forgot to add was that the acid demand does not slow at all at...

    pH keeps rising

Thanks jblizzle, I should have started the thread by saying 'My wife wanted the pool not me.....'. So let me make this clear - I won the argument and agreed to install the pool LMAO. I did a load of research on less chemical sanitisation systems and this one looks/looked the real deal -...
