Just checked Lowe's online price and it jumped to $14.98 for a box of 2 gallons. Ugh.:mad:

    That's a good price at Wal-mart. I've been paying $12.00 for 2 gallons at Lowe's.

    2023 Bleach Prices

Wait, did I read that correctly? Home Depot delivered 24-32 gallons, i.e. 12-16 two gallon boxes, for just $9.00? Curious, where do you store such a qty of LC?

Liquid Chlorine Cost Increase @ Home Depot

I'm pondering the getting ahead of any additional summer price spikes by bulk buying in a couple weeks. Curious how many of you all store LC inside your home? In AZ storing it outside in the shade or in an enclosed garage that can reach 125 degrees doesn't seem prudent.

Thoughts and/or Experience w/Black+Decker Variable Pump?

I'm looking to upgrade my 1.5hp single speed motor with this Black+Decker and 5-yr warranty ($599.00 at Wal-Mart). It's half the cost of a Hayward and Pantair. But cheaper isn't always better. Would love some feedback here: https://poolpartstogo.com/products/bdvar

Less Water Loss in the Heat?

I thought I was losing my mind today when i noticed my water level decreasing less as the heat rose, so I asked the wife what she had noticed. She agreed. We haven't had any storms and/or strong winds recently. Is this some sort of pool phenomenon of which we're unaware?

Coming chlorine shortage? - It is Here!

Visited Home Depot here in AZ today. 10% LC stocked to the top of the shelf. Julian date was 21 10309 so just a couple months old. Buckets of pucks were half gone with a prominent notification stating, "Limit of 2 per customer."

Coming chlorine shortage? - It is Here!

Speaking of safely storing chlorine. I understand storing liquid chlorine indoors is not advisable, but when trying to salvage its concentration, what other options are there? At the peak of an AZ summer, my enclosed garage can reach 135 degrees. I'm now considering storing the boxes inside...

Curious How Often Y'all Manually Sweep Your Pool

Had to purchase two new skimmer diverters after realizing that at 100% closure my existing were allowing water to flow through the skimmer. Last two nights following aggressive sweeps with each diverter at 100% closure, I noticed a marked difference in water clarity. Can't "thank you" enough...

Curious How Often Y'all Manually Sweep Your Pool

You and I own the same robot. Although mine picks up a large portion of the fine dust, I've found it misses a bunch, too, while stirring it up. I use these filters: Amazon.com : Fil-fresh Robotic Pool Cleaner Filter Compatible with Dolphin m400, m500, Nautilus CC Plus, 4-Pack Ultra-Fine...

Curious How Often Y'all Manually Sweep Your Pool

I adjusted my skimmer diverter to 100% closed tonight, then swept the pool from shallow to deep end. It's a relatively large L-shaped pool so pushing the dirt and debris to the deep end isn't easy. Thanks for that advice. Looking forward to seeing the results when I wake up in the morning.
