Yes leaking from the sand filter out through the backwash pipe. What would happen if I capped the pipe to keep water inside the tank? Then I would could just uncap, place my backwash hose and go.

Its a slow steady trickle from the backwash pipe. I used silicone prior to placing everything back. The leaking is not as bad but still there. The pool store sold me the entire innards not just the gasket. Also the handle was loose so I replaced the spring underneath the handle.

HELP!! replaced the entire multi port replaced the valve head and it is still leaking!! What did I do wrong

HELP!! Bought a Aqua Products Mamba a year ago and the stupid POC won't work!! This thing is about the worst vacuum you could buy. Anyone else have problems with this product??

This may have been covered elsewhere. When I backwash and rinse my pool I usually drain the water into my backyard. Last year I almost flooded a neighbors house due to inattention. Does anyone have any tips on a better way to drain waste water? I have seen others just run the water down...
