    "Supporting TFP" link issues

Ahh yes. Logged out and then back in and the links are fine. TFP has really been the trusted gold standard, Go-to for many years!

    "Supporting TFP" link issues

It appears the "Support TFP" tab in left margin as well "Supporting TFP" link at the bottom of the page bring you to a page where you scroll down to a "Donate" button, but when you click on that it just reloads the same page. Working on a PC with Chrome, but I don't think issues such as this are...

    Ideal pump speed for HeatPump

Thanks nuttyp! I hadn't seen that thread. Just going to experiment with it as I did for the Intelichlor. Seems to kick off at 1400 RPMs for me.

    Ideal pump speed for HeatPump

Been quite a while since I posted. Everyone was so much help years ago, that I never needed anything. Sorry for being a User :-) We have a newly built home and pool and it is my first season with a VSP and Heatpump. So the the question...is there an ideal pump speed to heat the pool? Is running...

    Done with the SWG

Hi Dave, I use your TFP 100 kit (think that was it anyway?) and have been getting all my testing supplies from you....need to order some more CYA reagent (as well as some other stuff), but for the meantime, are there any conditions that would give a false high CYA reading? I read some threads...

    Done with the SWG

Okay.... -Salt is back up to 3250-3500ppm for the past few days. -On Boost....unit test shows 28V and 5.4-5.7 amps (amps seem to jump around a bit but this seems about right going into our 4th season, correct?) -FC: 7.5 in the pool -FC: 8.5 at the SWG -CC: 0 -TA:100-110 -pH: 7.2-7.5 (closer to...

    Done with the SWG

I didn't realize you had posted, Sean, but I was just about to come back and say I was going to give it one more shot. I hate not figuring something out....like an unsolved puzzle...it was really going to bug me. So I just picked up 160 lbs of solar salt. I'll report back after it's back on line...

    Done with the SWG

I struggled all last summer and never was able to get our SWG able to handle chlorine production on its own. aquapilot-sc-48-can-t-keep-up-with-fc-demand-t22288.html I've decided I'm just going to bag it this year and unplug the thing. I figure I'll save a ton on electricity by being able to...

    Spill-Less Clorox not real bleach

Made the same mistake last week! Asked TBH to grab a half dozen jugs of generic bleach, but they only had two, so she got Clorox instead. (2 regular and 2 "Splashless". I used one of them and all of a sudden sudsy film on the water. :grrrr: Couldn't for the life of me determine what caused...

AquaPilot SC-48 can't keep up with FC demand

Looks like it's shock therapy 'til I get rid of whatever the chlorine be munching on...

AquaPilot SC-48 can't keep up with FC demand

OK...so last night FC did NOT hold. Dropped 1ppm from 5 to 4. Can pollen create this sort of demand?

AquaPilot SC-48 can't keep up with FC demand

OK, I ran the pump/SWG for 12 hrs from 7pm to 7am @ 100% power setting 3 and the FC went up 1.5ppm (from 5.5 to 7.0) I pulled the cell yesterday afternoon and did notice a very slight hint of erosion on the outer plates, not much at all and I don't think I could quantify it but obviously it was...

AquaPilot SC-48 can't keep up with FC demand

Re: SWG can't keep up with FC demand Well, I always have trouble trusting my eyes with the CYA test, but I'm pretty sure it's between 70 and 80. I had two other people confirm on two different tests. I think I am going to do a reverse-FC hold test tonight, ie run the pump/SWG all night and see...

AquaPilot SC-48 can't keep up with FC demand

Re: SWG can't keep up with FC demand While in Boost Mode, the Test shows 29 Volts - 6.1 Amps. There doesn't seem to be any chalky residue or buildup on the cell plates. Looks pretty clean.

AquaPilot SC-48 can't keep up with FC demand

Re: SWG can't keep up with FC demand Thanks Jason. I'll run the test when I'm back home. The plates were clean at start up about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Is this something that could have built up over that time period? I have always added bleach at times, for shocking or when I knew my settings...
