    Pool return line air?

I have two valves on the return side for the pool. One is for bubblers and other is the jets around the pool. When I open the one for the jets around the pool all the way, my pump makes noise like air is in the lines they are visible in the pool. Bubbler only does not do it. Hot tub does not do it.

    Suction side vacuume

If the vacuums is all the way off no issues. Only when I have pool vac 1/2 way or more and kids take it out of pool disconnected and hose out (wall suction closed off when vac is out). I would think it would get water needed from the pool drain and skimmers.

    Suction side vacuume

It seems the cap on the valve is not right either. It’s set to fully off right now.

    Skimmer float valve.

Thanks for the answer. I was just illustrating how the pipes come into the valve. I do have minimal control over skimmers because they are plumbed with the main drain. But could I slow down the flow (one skimmer) with a float valve if it’s in parallel? Would I need a float valve in both to...

    Skimmer float valve.

I have 2 skimmers. One is in series with main drain and has float valve. The other in parallel with the 1st one and no float valve. I would assume that both need float valve because if water drops below level both would induce air. And the parallel one without the float valve is gettin more...
