    Metal stains

Thank you! The vitamin C lifts the stains but then do I need to sequester it or use something else to remove it from the water so it doesn’t come back? Any suggestions?

    Metal stains

We had our pool replastered last spring. In the summer last year I noticed a few small metal stains and was able to remove them with vitamin C. One removed immediately and the other made it look worse and spread but eventually disappeared. This year there are more than last year. They are...

    Pool light conversion

Hi, I am replacing my 2 pool lights and converting them to low voltage. They are the pentair 5g color changing lights. I understand how to pull the new lights through into the junction box. There is conduit from the junction box to where I want to place the transformer a few feet away...

Thank you! That makes more sense.

    Pentair lights

Hi, I am installing two new pentair 5g color lights in my pool and converting to 12v using the controller dial that does the color selection. The wiring for the controller uses 120v and then 120v to the transformer which then reduces the voltage and then the lights are wired into the low voltage...

Ok! I’ll try out some spacing and see what it looks like.

    Step tile

Hi, My wife is insistent on keeping our step tile for safety for the kids with our pool renovation. These 2x2 tiles are the ones we are using for the waterline and I am thinking about just using these for the step tiles as well. They aren’t the glass tiles I have been seeing on steps but do have...

Yes I feel like the gray grout looks good on blending on yours. I imagine it will look good with the dk350 blue that I was thinking as well. What plaster finish did you use?

Did you use the DK354 on the back wall here? You have two tiles here and I couldn’t tell which one. It looks more blue when they are all together versus the swatch. That was the same one I had right below the dk350 we are looking towards just a different color. Yeah I really like using a grout...

I like the way they blend. One worry I had was with just two tiles high you will see a continuous line around the pool between the upper and lower tile with white grout and I wasn’t sure I would like that. What do you think you would do?

Thank you! I was leaning that way. I think they generally use white grout. Do you think that would be best or steer them towards a certain color? The pool interior is going to be the sample right beside the tile with cobalt blue flecks in it.
