First, your measurement of 14.4 indicates that you are using 25ml of sample water to do the test. Use only 10ml and multiply the number of drops by .5 to get your results. This will save you reagents. Maybe you already made this change since the latest result is 8.5.
When using Pool Math (
http://www.troublefreepool.com/calc.html ) enter the test result in the left column (Now) and in the right column enter the target (16?). Unless the numbers are the same Pool Math will give you an amount to add. Make sure to enter your pool volume and bleach percentage also. If you haven't see this, it may help:
Pool School - PoolMath
Since you have started the SLAM the only test you need to run every time is FC. You can test CC once in a while too. The other tests you do not need to do right now.
Every time you test, enter the numbers (Now and Target) into Pool Math and add the amount indicated. So if your FC is 8.5 put that in the left column and your target in the right column to see how much you should add now. That's what you should add next.
Repeat this process as often as once every hour in the beginning.
Hopefully you have removed any tabs that were in the pool. During the SLAM the pump should be running 24/7. Keep an eye on the filter and backwash whenever the pressure rises by 25% over clean pressure. Brush the pool a lot since algae forms a biofilm and brushing breaks that up and exposes the algae to the chlorine. Reading through the directions for the SLAM can be helpful as it makes more sense once you start doing it.

Also, could you please fill in your signature as Texas Splash asked and explained in Post #2 of the thread? It is really helpful and makes it easier for people to respond to your questions.
Are you sure the pool is actually 30,500 gallons? That is really large for an above ground pool and if that number is bigger than it should be then the amount of chlorine calculated using Pool Math will be more than what you should be using if the pool is indeed smaller. If you add pool details in your signature someone can help double check the pool volume.
One more thing - take pictures

It would be great if you would post a picture of what the water looks like now. But even if you don't post it, pics can help you see the progress. Take pictures in the same spot, looking down at the steps is a good place.
Update: Glad Pool Math is working for you now.
