Vegaskid - based on yours and others rave reviews of Grand Isle Pools, I decided to call and email them for more info. I'm not sure if they will build where we are (Spring Branch), but I can't get anyone to answer me or call me back. Did you get a pretty quick response from them initially? First impressions are huge in my book and they're not impressing me so far.
aprillh, I tried contacting Grand Isle as well for a pool build as well. Left several messages and never got a return call. Despite the glowing reviews here, I x'd them off our list. Didn't bode well for customer service if a basic inquiry couldn't be answered.
I talked to John at Grand Isle and they are extremely busy. I'll shoot him a text and see if he's fine with giving out his cell number.
I got a 3d model in 1 day with a quote and the final design was done within a week. We did however place our contract in January when things were slow.
His pools start at $60K. If this is what you're looking for then PM me and I"ll give you his cell.

Yes, I spoke to him recently too and he said he was slammed at the moment.
I think he took about a week to get back to me initially but from there everything was super quick. I still speak/text to him and get almost instantaneous responses and he was on-site every day of my build.

I'll get the wife to take some better ones once we finish up some minor touchups. FP is pretty awesome and the pool LED's are pretty neat too.
Got the irrigation in today, so sod this week and then we'll get moving on the landscaping. Also have our furniture on order from Costco.
It's coming together, slowly but surely.

You know what we did have a little bit of snow last night. It didn't stick to the ground though. Snow is all melted away and pool has thawed out. Winter better be over ! ?
Today we spent more money...decided to go with the Katchakid net over the fence. Just felt more safe with all the kiddos in the family.

We are going with that as part of out build as well. The peace of mind is worth it!
