Adding baking soda low tA

I am replacing everything. The reagents expired 2 months ago.
Those numbers from LPS are suspect.

Post a full set of results when you get fresh reagents.
Until then, use 40 as your CYA and dose to the high side of the FC range for your CYA.
FC/CYA Levels

If you run out of reagents again, just so state rather than post pool store numbers.
TFTestkits has a sale every March for refill kits. You should replace your reagents then.
How old are you other reagents?

Your other numbers look good.
Ok I retested my pool this morning. We fixed the o ring on the dome because the filter dome was leaking. I will be adding 3 gallons of conditioner tonight to raise the CYA as I have 30.
The display box shows I have 2900 in salt but my tests shows higher. Should I be concerned of the salt reading on the box as an issue with the salt cell? Advice ?

3 gallons of liquid conditioner is expensive.
Just get the granules and add using the sock method.

Reduce pH to about 7.5
Once TA gets to 60, run pH at 7.8-8.0

If the SWG is happy making chlorine, just leave the salt as is.

The box system is giving me the orange light and indicating low salt at 2700 when I have higher than that so I should call Hayward? Or?
I would add just enough salt to increase 200ppm. This would still be in range and if the SWCG is happy then keep it there. Adding too much salt can be worst.
Always trust your own salt testing but you have to make the SWCG happy.
The option is to contact Hayward for their insight. Be sure to have the most recent salt testing value and the read out data from the cell.

The reading I did with TFP kit came out at 3600. I willl be taking the salt cell to get checked out this weekend since it’s still under warranty.
