Hello! I have a pool in signature and I'm trying to figure out the best way to make sure everything is bonded the best It can be for an old pool.
6 years ago I bought this house. I moved locations of the pump and filter to a shed a couple feet away and replaced both components, new liner, added SWG, solar water heater, automatic pool cover with aluminum "over the deck rails". Threw away old precast coping and bolted new metal edge coping(with liner channel) on top of the metal precast holding trays. I then mortared in some flagstone to the cement walkway surround.
Big mistake that I didn't add a 2nd bond wire then but it didn't occur to me at the time that it wasn't correct. Towards the end of the project I noticed there was no bonding wire to be found at the old pump/filter location! I kind of just put it off and threw a GFCI on everything. What can I do to make this as safe as I can. There are no metal components within 5 feet except the metal cover track, track motor and coping. I have in-liner concrete steps and no ladder or grab bars or diving board...
Id like to run a bond between the lights transformer, pump motor, cover motor, SWG and also get the track and coping connected. How can I accomplish the last two items? Any other considerations or ideas?
