The app is telling me to add 2g of pH Down / Dry Acid. But I believe it should be 20g instead.

You need to put your TA in to have an accurate pH adjustment.

Like above, the TA needs to be there.

But beware your SWG does not like the use of dry acid.

Oh, I failed to mention, this is for my bromine sanitized spa. Is dry acid ok then?

I do strictly use muriatic in my pool anyways.

How often do you drain your spa and refill?

Usually in the fall before winter, then again in spring and as needed in summer

The sulfates in the dry acid will accumulate in the spa water until you dump it.

It is not good for the SWG or concrete but hard to say if it will get to damaging levels in 6 months.

I don't need to lower ph too often. I also use borates in the spa.
