Bonding a resin above ground pool

Looking to bond my above ground pool. Because it is all resin except the shell, I have read on this site that you only need to connect to the seem. So I will run the copper line from the seem to the equipment and branch off and connect the pump, heater and anode. Correct?

Two questions.

1. Do I still need to loop around the pool? (Guessing I don’t because there is no other place to connect to the pool, only the seem)
2. Do I need to connect the bonding copper wire to a copper rod that’s in the ground?

Here in NJ back in 2022 I had my pool which sounds similar to yours installed; metal wall and resin uprights, top rail and bottom track. The electrician didn't bond the pool wall but did bond the water, loop around the pool and all the equipment. I don't think he put a grounding rod into the ground, I believe the equipment grounding serves as the bonding points.

In the US a pool bonding grid should NOT be connected to a grounding rod or to electrical service grounds.

Run a bond ring around the pool.

Bond together the ring, the wall (via the seam), the water (either via a waterbug, or a correctly sized piece of pipe), the pump, the heater, the SWGC, and anything else metallic (such as metal lader handles, a metal gazebo, etc. They all get attached (bonded) to each other. No ground rods, no attaching to electrical grounds.
