Went out of town thought I'd be gone a week way longer...miscommunication who was taking care of the pool it is loaded with algae. My fault no one else's. GREEN water loaded I know I have to drain if. Trying to get to next SPRING to resurface if. Can I salvage it for one more season. Need Next steps..HELP I CREATED MY OWN MESS!

Welcome. Maybe don’t need to drain. Take a look at the SLAM process to see if that’ll work. It requires a specific test kit though.
