SWCG and Vinyl and really low CSI -1.14

I understand a low CSI has little effect on a vinyl pool but how about my SWCG? At this point I am working on getting all things to the stage I need in order to increase my borates. That low CSI troubles me to no end. If it doesn’t matter much even to the SWCG then I may stop monitoring it.

Low CSI is fine for a SWG.

High CSI can cause scaling in the cell.

You didn’t need any baking soda and you can lighten up on the acid and let the pH get up to 7.8 and your CSI will be more normal range.

It does not matter for you or your SWG. Mine has been much lower for years with no harm to anything.
