SPA mode comes on randomly, 20yr old Aqualink RS4

I disconnected the SPA side remote at the control panel, and bad behavior still happening. Not sure what to do next.

I upgraded the outside system to the wireless iAqualink a few years ago so that I could control from the internet. the inside panel is original.

any suggestions?

Show us a picture of your Aqualink PCB.

Things you can try…

1. Disconnect your inside control panel
2. Reset the Aqualink to factory defaults and reprogram it
3. Replace the PCB

Also try reseating all rs485 cables and change their locations and any that are paired up (2 in one slot) rearrange those as well.

Here is the outside panel and inside PCB pictures. Let me know if this triggers any new thoughts, and also where online can I get a replacement PCB if we determine that is the problem? thanks.

I would cut all the 4-wire connectors on both ends and strip new leads for each.
