Hey y’all….its winter and my inground is closed but this past autumn drove my a bit mad. Our backyard neighbor has an out of control crepe Myrtle tree that had a billion flowers that all ended up in my pool. I’ve hinted at them trimming it. Is there a realistic leaf net that I can put over the pool every night or is this going to be too labor intensive? Thanks
Pool is 10x20

Anything but an automatic cover is a lot of work, depending on the size of the pool. Even they need to have the debris removed before opening or it will end up in the pool the next time it is closed.

Do you have a VS pump - add whatever pump you have to your signature.
With a VS pump, you can leave it running all night at a low RPM and it should skim all the flowers off into the skimmer.

Many of us run our VS pumps 24/7 at low RPM - just fast enough to provide a bit of skimming action.

Hmmm, never thought of that. Skimmer is also full in morning by the time I go outside….once I empty basket and skim water it’s a done deal. I guess it’s actually fairly manageable lol, it just drives me mad that they won’t trim their tree 😝

Get a BetaBot solar skimmer robot. I've got two Crepe Myrtle trees next to my pool and the robot does a great job skimming them up in the fall. I do need to empty the basket every day, but I don't need to run my pump that much with our drop-dead expensive California electricity.
