Good morning.
Checked my water and my ph is at 8.2 with water temp at 54 degrees and with all my readings my csi is at 0.05 . Is it ok having the ph at this level ?
Numbers are
Ph 8.2
Alk 70
Water temp 54
Calcium 350
Cya 70
Salt 3200
CSI 0.05
Thank you

I would lower pH to 7.4 using muriatic acid. This will in turn lower your TA, which will reduce the pH drift.
Not looking to do that due to the fact if I lower the ph to say 7.8 my csi would be 0.34 . Also if lower the alk to say 60 and a ph of say 7.8 my csi would be 0.44

Please post your water chemistry in the format:

FC
CC
pH
TA
CH
CYA
SALT
WATER TEMPERATURE

As pH goes down CSI goes lower.

As water gets colder CSI gets lower.

You are missing the - signs.

At 7.8 your CSI is -0.34

At 7.8 and TA of 60 your CSI is -0.44

Any of these CSIs are fine for the winter.

I would leave your TA as is and lower your pH slightly to 7.8. Your pH and CSI will rise in time and a CSI between -0.34 and +0.05 is fine.

One more question. Earlier my low temperature sign came on at 54 degrees. The temperature now is at 56 degrees and it’s still saying low temperature. Isn’t the system supposed to cut off at 51 degrees??

One place in the manual says 54F, and another place says 51F.

Lots of things in the system are not really digital but analog and not that precise. I would not worry about it. The Aquapure will come one when it is ready to.
