Hi, not really sure where to go with this issue. First, I’ve tried starting up my heater for the first time this year in spa mode and was unable to get the heater to turn on from the app or the panel. It seems that I was able to put the heater in bypass mode. However, I’m not certain because I cannot read the characters on the front of the heater. My characters are all messed up from the heater display itself however, it shows the compressor on and the fan on when I toggle it on from the app now, so I’ve just assumed that I have bypass mode working.

What doesn’t seem to be working is the temperature as I’ve been running my spa for about four hours and it has gone up 1° whereas it feels warmer than what it’s reading.

I’m not sure if I am not in bypass mode or if there’s a problem with the heater itself other than the display not working or quite possibly an issue with the temperature reading.

What the app shows is just a suggestion to the HP. It does not mean the compressor is actually running.

You need an HVAC tech to checkout your HP unless you have a clamp on ammeter to see if the compressor is actually running.

Come to think of it it doesn’t sound like the compressor is kicking on just the fan.
