MasterTemp 300

Understand that you are dealing with five different temperatures when you try and solve a heating problem with your setup:

  • Actual water temperature
  • EasyTouch displayed water temperature
  • EasyTouch heat setpoint
  • MasterTemp displayed water temperature on heater control panel
  • MasterTemp heat setpoint on heater control panel
In diagnosing a problem you should know all of them to determine which one is malfunctioning.

I did measure with food gauge, spa and heater panel are very close....The white you see is area that had to be grinded down some so the temp sensor would sit flush on pipe....The 90 was too close to the sensor hole....Thanks!

Is the MasterTemp heat setpoint set to 104F?

The MasterTemp is shutting off at 100 and you say the spa is measured at what temperature?

The MasterTemp can heat up to 104F if that is set as the setpoint. Sounds like it is set at 100F.

Ajw and James...thanks for all the help....In the end, most likely the Thermal reg was the cause of all the LED red lites, cracked manifold prob didnt help....and now I will replace the easytouch water temp sensor.
Thanks and this site is great!

I use screen logic to set the spa temp setting and it is set to max 104....but this was yesterday when trying to figure what sensor was inaccurate...

Im heating up the spa and just set temp on heater panel to 104...ty!

As you have learned the heater has independent controls on its control panel from what you set on ScreenLogic

With your EasyTouch water sensor reading low your EasyTouch was not controlling the heater. The heater control panel was controlling itself as the backup control.
