Yesterday, free chlorine dove to 3! massive temps and sunshine.
Added chlorine from the bottle and raised SWCG to 30%.
Today:

FC = 6
CyA = 50, added some.

Gave it a good brushing as well.

Twas about 2 PM. I should have waited.
Will monitor again later today.

2 is much closer to the low point than 7A or 7P. (y)

Mess around with it on a day off to find the lowest then use that time as your baseline. You don't need to test at that time once you find it, just to recognize where you are in relation to it, and allow plenty of wiggle room FC at other times.

Question to the experts, yesterday morning after I left for work, my wife sends me a pic of the pump/ filter area with a geyser of water spraying 5-6 feet in the air. She turned off the pump.
That evening I get home, turn the pump on full blast, no leaks. Let it run for two hours, and then turned it down to 50% output overnight. This morning, at full 100% still no leaks. So I let it run all day. Still no leaks now.
What happened yesterday morning and is there a blow valve or a pressure release valve around the top of my filter, near or on the pressure gauge maybe?

The pic is very crappy but will get it. Water was spraying out of or near the top of the Hayward filter. Will take a pic of the setup during daylight and post back.
