Our pool was just completed this past July so we didn’t have the funds to worry about landscaping nor did I really care that much! A nice trouble free pool was my priority 😊.
The wife has some landscaping plans we will start on in the spring….

I submitted a pic any way because I am Dang proud of our first pool. The grass seems to be coming in nicely.

I worked crazy hard on my landscaping this summer. I wish this contest was a few months ago, before the summer heat baked all my plants and trees, and burned up all my flowers. Oh well, maybe next year, as I figure I'm still only at 50% from fulfilling my fantasy garden.

My proudest feature can't be captured with one photo, at all really. I actually live in a typical residential neighborhood, but you would never know it while at my pool. My landscaping blocks all but a couple slivers of views of next-door neighbor houses. I really love that.

We just really have not had the money to do the backyard with the HVAC needing replaced last summer and replacing a broken sliding patio door (and a few others to help HVAC efficiency at the same time). While I can't compete with the fancy in ground pools and professional landscaping, it is functional....20230624_202650.jpg
