I've had this SWG for 3 years. This year I notice a large air bubble trapped on top side of cell (may have always been there, but never noticed). I also get low salt blinking, maybe related. Is there a preferred orientation to help remove air? Mine is horizontal with wide width vertical. Could easily rotate 90 degrees. Bumping up pump speed doesn't seem to push the air out. I know small bubbles are normal. This is like the top 1/2". Pump basket has no air.

Manual shows installation with the wide width horizontal, but does not specify in text. I would reorient, and run the VSP up to max speed for 30 seconds and see if the air clears.

I have pump run for 30 minutes in the morning at 2500. Just tried 3200 and seemed to clear big bubbles. Will change my morning run to 3250 for 15 minutes. I do always get a lot of large bubbling from one jet when pump comes on in the morning, I'm sure clearing "some" of that air out and any in the lines from the SWG gas creation. I'll also rotate the width just to see what happens.

Be sure that you don't have a suction leak. At the start in the morning release all air from the filter. Check in 15 minutes. A lot of air? Suction leak.

Never any air in the filter or pump basket, only in the cell. Not so much now that I've rotated it parallel to the ground.
