Beatbot AquaSense Cordless Pool Robot

Got this today! Unfortunately it's gotten stuck twice in the span of an hour on my drains. Anyone else have similar drains?
Have to say I'm pretty disappointed so far.
Ran it 3 times and every single time it has missed the middle of my pool - roughly a 8x5 ft area. You can see the hard lines where it's driven by the area but not through it.

Not sure how that's even possible.

FWIW, reach out to them via email. They have been Very repsonsive with me and my similar issues.
Do you have the "multi zone beta" mode? I have the Pro version and it has this option. It works way better than the "smart" navigation modes. But even they are getting better with updates.

I do have the pro version but I don't see multi zone beta mode.
I'll email them.

For my pool, I needed to to set it to the "max" run time.
My observations is this just turns it into a dumb, random pattern, cleaning. I have verified that it covers like 99% of my pool every time in this mode. It does run for like 4 hours though (until the battery is dead actually). In the smart modes, it currently misses about 25% of my pool every time and gets stuck in patterns that eat up 30 or 40 minutes of the cleaning time cleaning the same area. They do send me updates to try out though and each one makes it better, so I am sure they will continue to improve it. I have been most impressed with their CS (as opposed to Wybot).

This multi zone mode definitely works better. I wish I had the option to use that but for floor only.

Haven't decided if I'm keeping it or not. Would really like to try the Polaris freedom plus but I'm not sure anywhere offers 30 day returns for it.

Got the Pro version and so far it has done a great job on my 15k kidney shaped pool. It does the stairs and I’ve even saw it on my sitting ledges in the deep end. I use a custom mode that does floor and sides twice and skimmer once.

To be honest I don’t pay too much attention to it. I was never a fan of the plug-in robot cleaner due to extension cord/electric cable running across the decking so I’ve stuck to the pressure cleaners until now. The unit does clean walls and floors well. Not sure about the skimming functions, although I’ve never had an issue with the natural flow of water pushing surface debris to the built in skimmers. I have seen it clean my stairs and looks to have done a good job. What I don’t know is how consistent is it on a daily basis as I don’t get a map of my pool which I assume is because it’s kidney shaped.

Pulling it out of the water to charge is a PITA. But I guess that’s a first world problem.

All I know is it does a good enough job on the walls that I don’t have to brush the pool.

Mission accomplished.

I have recorded and charted 32 missions in various modes, I can say it is pretty consistent in each mode.

Is anyone finding these cordless bots do well with larger pools? I'd like to ditch the cable, but 2/3/4 hours of runtime does not seem like enough for my 40k gallon pool. Maybe i'll give it another few years for the battery life to get to 5-6 hours.

Any updates thoughts on the aquasense pro after more use the the beta releases? Any more ota updates improve it further? I also have a 40k gallon pool and am interested in getting a new cordless robot but am concerned about battery life.

My corded robot (Polaris 9550) cleans my whole pool - also 40K gallons - in 3 hours. Does your current robot take longer than that?

my corded robot finishes a cycle in 3.5 hours. it definitely doesn't get every nook and cranny in that time frame. i typically run it 2-3 times back to back.

For those of you who have purchased a cordless robot (the Beatbot or any other brand), how are they holding up?

I've been researching and most of the posts are from 2024.

<Rant> My Warrior SE has broken again, and I've gone all the way to the circuit board, but this time I can't pinpoint any particular issue. I had repaired my Dolphin Deluxe 4 many many times (and it lasted many years) until I could no longer find replacement motors for it. My last Warrior repair involved some parts from eBay that didn't cost all that much and all of that was caused by water getting into the motor area. (Why don't they make these things airtight?!) We put lots of lube on and there was no water in there this time, but something on the circuit board seems to have fried itself somehow. </Rant>

My Seagull Pro was going strong for 2 years, no issues until they recalled it a few weeks ago. Have not received the replacement Scuba SE yet, so can't comment. I still have a corded Aquabot I'm using while I wait. Cordless is so much nicer! Can run it with Betta skimmer and not get tangled. And no cord to put away.

My beat bot is still going strong - almost a year old now. I bought new filters for it so I didn't have to clean them as much.

Overall, I think I prefer my Polaris quattro sport though - cleans the whole pool much quicker and doesn't get stuck on drains.

Upside for Beatbot is that it gets more fine dirt and doesn't have a cord to get in the way of my Betta. I'd like to try the Ultra but can't justify $3k.

I recently bought the Aquasense 2 Beatbot. May well return it as it just doesn't seem to ever get to all of my pool, even after multiple runs. The specs said 4 hour run time, but my cleaning history always says exactly 150 minutes after it finishes each run and that's in floor only mode. I started using it before the pool was open, and I could see it's path through the dirt on the floor. Even after three runs, there were parts of the pool floor it never touched. I've probably run it at least a dozen times now, and it just doesn't seem to do what my corded Polaris 9550 Sport (RIP) could do in only one run. How long does your Beatbot run for in floor mode? Do you feel like it's getting your entire pool floor clean in one go? I REALLY want to go cordless, but I'm not convinced so far!

There is an interesting review on youtube from "The Hook Up" that maps out coverage results from a number of cleaners. What was interesting was that in his review he saw better results from the robots that just cleaned based on patterns rather than any of the advanced mapping technologies. His results showed 75% floor coverage on the Aquasense and 40% pool wall coverage. I think he was testing Aquasense not Aquasense 2 but the results seem pretty comparable to your results. Overall he found the best coverage from the Aiper S1 (not Pro).

I don't have the 2, but I have the Aquasense Pro first gen. Someone else pointed out here that Multizone Mode (beta) seems to work the best - unfortunately you can't do floor only in that mode so you have to do , floor, walls and water line but it does get the floor very well in that mode.

In floor only, it'll miss the same spot continuously - even in custom mode running it on Floor X2 which is about 230-240 mins on mine.
