That is so weird that your highlight indicates a 1.47 version when my display says 1.17 and AL-7. Something very weird , which explains why I've never got good readings since I've bought this house. Do the aquarite and aquatrol boards look the same as well? Just wondering if they put in a replacement aquarite board at some point?? Anyways, I'll post diagnostics this evening

It looks like the Hi salt happens at 5 amps for the T-5 cell.
You can jump the J4 to make it go up to 8 amps before giving a hi salt light.

So basically there may be an incorrect board? Should I get the correct board before I jump the j4?
You can lower the salinity or jump the J-4.

Yes sir, the flow switch does seem to work even though the board says it doesn’t require one. If I take it out, nothing really changes. and the cell is mounted horizontally after the filter and before the jet.
The main issue is safety.
If the cell is not mounted as shown in the below illustration, then you need to be 100% sure that the flow switch is working.

If I take the cable out, it doesn’t seem like a requirement to run. If I switch to Auto the cell will still attempt to run.
Lastly, can you tell by the picture of the circuit board if the J4 has pins or if I have to get it soldered?

An RJ with no flow switch does that as well. An RJ cell will show "no flow" for a while (maybe 30 seconds) and then start generating. Even though it knows it does not have a flow switch, it still goes through that process.
