Return and skimmer locations on new L shaped pool.

A third skimmer buys you nothing.

This version has the skimmer nicely in the shallow end...

almost shifting it one panel the left might be best too. then its centered in the shallow end. like someone else said, i believe its just being placed in an 8' panel that i could located wherever once it arrives

How much leaf debris will the pool get?

If you will get a lot of leaf debris, then I would go for 3 skimmers.

For low debris, then go for 2 skimmers.

3 skimmers would require more flow for skimming, so it would cost more for power.

2 skimmers is more efficient.

3 skimmers are less likely to get overwhelmed/clogged by leaf debris.

If you do three skimmers put them wherever you feel is best.

Probably one on the long wall would be good.

Get a 3 hp variable speed pump and a 420 sqft cartridge filter.

probably a fair amount of leaves in fall. i do have a surface robot for it. I do have a 3hp variable speed. i'm going with sand so i dont have to redo the plan and payment etc. i know everyone has their preferred filter method.
