Cut in liner

This cut is from an umbrella that fell in and cut it. Brand new liner.

It’s not leaking. It’s been this way for 2 months and I just noticed it.

I can patch it. That’s easy.

But, patch looks goofy.

Is there an adhesive I can use to just mend this spot?

It’s on the end of that wrinkle. No issue with the wrinkle.

Was the wrinkle always there? Kinda really sus that an umbrella chose exactly that spot to land.

Any harm in using the adhesive and seeing if I can get that flap back in place? Worse case, if/when it starts actually leaking I’ll patch it?

Up to you, but a leak could give you more wrinkles or erode the floor before you realize it.

A vinyl patch kit will come with vinyl adhesive. Let's ask @Mdragger88 if she has any preferred brands.

Yes. It works great for the short term. YMMV for how long.

That is perfect & really the best one!
The one i posted I would consider pretty good but not much supplies. Its just widely available same day for those in a bind/emergency - which a rip usually is.

Thanks! This cut is like 3/4” wide and is not leaking. It’s been there for 6 weeks, at least. So, I’m hoping I can just use the clear patch to cover the cut and keep it from progressing.

For the divot you can try to massage the sand / vermiculite around it towards it to make it less of a channel- if its soft at all.
