The SLAM this week went fine. Pool is clear. Brushed and/or robot each day. FC decreased at a very slow rate over the week. Some rains yesterday (did not test). No swimming this week (lack of grandchildren). Solar cover on most of the time. Water temp is 79.

This morning's results:
PH 7.2
FC 1
CC .5
TC 1.5
CH 250
TA 110
CYA 40

The PH has been fairly constant the week at 7.2.

Pool math suggests:
2+ qts of chlorine
15 oz Borax 20 mule
Acid and Ariation (If I understand correctly add acid and ariate and monitor TA)
12 lbs Calcium Chloride

What seems counter intuitive to me is the adding acid and the Borax recomendation.

For these Pool Math suggestions is there a best order of adding?

Thanks, John.

Your ph is fine- do not add borax
As you manage ph with acid your ta will come down.
Your ch is fine for a vinyl pool- do not add ch
Your fc is critically low. You are risking algae again.
Add Liquid chlorine asap to reach target 🎯 levels for your cya
FC/CYA Levels
& maintain fc ABOVE min at all times or you will be doing the SLAM Process again.

Previously, Did you maintain slam fc until all 3 end of slam criteria were met?

Thanks for the confirmations. The SLAM process went just fine as it was more of getting the chlorine up and stable.

I will add that my CYA was low and I was slowly increasing it as the SLAM started going on. Moving away from the pool store process/recomendations. I am at a CYA of 40 and with the rains I suspected I would need to catch up on FC. The hardness I listed but was not planning on doing anything as the TFP site says, and others, is not a big deal with a vinyl pool. New chlorine is in progress now. Thanks again...

Your FC should be your #1 priority, like drop what you are doing and go add it this afternoon. For your CYA, you should keep your chlorine between 5 and 7 and never ever ever get close to 3.

Since you are at 1, I would get your chlorine up ASAP. Then do a OCLT to make sure you do not have algae somewhere before you add CYA.
