I have 2 Jandy Nicheless LEDs in the pool. One started flickering and now is not lighting up at all. Doing some research in the binder we were given when the pool was finished (2018) I see it could be one of three sizes.
-how do I remove the light from the wall? I know the replacement must take place on a dry pool deck. I assume I am only swapping out the filament?
-took this photo today and see the outer flange has a hairline crack. I assume water got inside of the light and possibly caused the failure?
- are we able to swim with this small crack going to a nicheless light fixture - risk of shock?
And finally, will Jandy sell me the part to DIY or will they only allow professionals to replace?

They literally just un-thread from the fitting they are in. It is a 1.5" female pipe adapter, so any nicheless light that your system can control and will fit into the length of pipe behind the wall will work.

So we don’t need to remove the screws on the white flange?

Well, just tried again and I see that there are two little notch’s on the clear part. Maybe there is a tool to unscrew the light?

There is an expensive (for most homeowners) tool for that purpose, Val-Pak V50-998. Or, a pair of needle-nosed pliers can be used by inserting the tips into the slots and then twisting the light loose. Don't need to be expensive pliers.
