Hi all,

I start having some random issues a year ago when once in a while I would found the the pool shut off and have to go and flip the breaker to restarted. 3 weeks ago I reopen it for this year and since then I had not more than a full day when It shuts down. As of today I cannot get it any longer to stay on for more than 10-15 min.

What it does: I turn it on by flipping the breaker, it starts booting up, i get to see the Hayward screen on the monitor. the 3 LEDs are acting up normal(12/24V Solid green) and the 3rd one cycling every 6 seconds. Then it starts the pump for priming and 2-3 min later the screen goes blank and back to power cycling mode. Once it is cycling for couple of times, the 3 LEDs start flickering and eventually the whole thing shuts down.
I went through the Troubleshooting guide and measured all voltages. They are a bit under the specs, for example the 12V Display measures 11.2, 24V - > 23.1 and the Breaker is 122V. So I cannot narrow down to either the board, screen or PSU.
I changed the 20A breaker with a new one, same behaviour.
The only thing I have not done yet is Factory Reset for the Omni config. As it is keep powering off I didn't want to risk it.

I posted a video on youtube for you to see the behaviour:

thank you!

The clicking I am hearing when Hayward is cycling on the display, are you causing that? What is clicking off and on?

I have the same problem. Started about a week and a half ago. Spoke to Hayward they said PSU because it is still in warranty the company that wants to fix it claims its an ethernet issue. I have them coming monday to install the WLAN. I'll let you know what they say. Please keep me updated on yours.

I will try unplugging the LAN cable! I will let you know! Recently I changed my home Wi-fi mesh routers! The only thing for me if this is the issue, the cable could be faulty! Even though when it works for 5-10min, I do get the App to connect to the system!

I have hayward coming out. They had me test the PSU input and i was getting between 120-160 V last night while it was cycling. Just measured again now and I was getting 120V then dropping down to 0 and back up. The white plug next to it which is power from the breaker I was getting a steady 120V.

Power supply swapped out around 1130 and 5 hours later we have not scene the issue again. Pool builders kept blaming our house for the issue we spent over 2500 trying to fix it on our end guess it was the power supply the entire time.

I’m glad you fixed it! Before reading your message I ordered a power supply as well! Hope it gets delivered this weekend! I had to turn the pump on manual mode as the water turned into a swamp already!
