My Dolphin X30 has been in the garage for almost a year and I recently started using it.
I noticed it was just doing small runs and then it would lift off the bottom and half float then go back down and do small runs again it did three cycles and didn’t pick anything up. I started troubleshooting and opened the motor block there was no sign of water leakage and it was completely sealed. I thoroughly silicone-lubed the o-rings and inspected the propeller servo and driving servo motor, couldn't fault any. Unfortunately, the Maytronics cleaner is still acting up and I am not clueless about what might be the root cause!

Video and photos of the issue.

Basically, the steps I have done.
* Inspected the motor block
* Opened and inspected the impeller motor, There was a bit of carbon but the brushes were still good.
* I did a continuity test on the cable, and all were okay.

These topics I found useful if someone in future is reading this thread and facing the same issue.

@JoyfulNoise, @Flying Tivo and @Apsuhead would be great to have your 2 cents.

Its like it does ok in reverse- maybe a gear problem or other mechanical issue?
Dolphins often have a tendency to do some “wheelies” but then return to normal operation. Something obviously isn’t right if it does this continuously when attempting to go forward.
That’s not a model that’s available in the USA so you may not have alot of luck with exact specifics here on the forum.
Perhaps also inquire with maytronics, describe the issue (that its constant) & see if they can help you troubleshoot the issue
Hopefully the others will have more detailed advice for you soon. It is a holiday here in the US so it may take a bit.
Best of luck 🤞
