No, I decided to not for the sole reason that I wasn’t going to be able to keep them at that level. I tried on thursday, and in 12 hours I lost about 38ppm in a 12 hour period. I can’t add chlorine more than 3-5 times a day in weekend, and only 2 times in weekdays usually. 2 or 3 times during the week my wife can be home around 1pm to add some in for me just to keep it from dropping too much. But that 6 hours in between. And I’ve learned from here that it can’t be made up for by putting in double the amount in the morning just to make up for it. So, I have to hope that I didn’t actually have yellow algae or if I did then it won’t come back. I will keep all posted for sure. Thanks!

If it returns when you’re in target range

There’s also MA minimums listed on the chart listed in the MA article so you can try to stay above that to ensure that it doesn’t return.

So now out of SLaM and keeping normal levels. I tested this morning and my FC was 9.0 , my PH was 7.2, and my alkalinity was 80. So I think best would be to raise PH, but alkalinity is where it should be, correct.? Baking soda would raise both PH and Alkalinity. Should I just leave Ph where is or add some baking soda?

Leave ph alone- it will rise on its own.
You can point your jets up to aerate the water & that will increase ph without increasing ta.
Y’all were confusing the heck out of me with talk about MA protocols, until I realized that you were talking about mustard algae, not muriatic acid! That’s what I get for jumping in at the end of the thread.

When I started my Slam over a month ago my CYA was 60ppm. This past weekend I tested it and it dropped a lot. The CYA test tube only goes to 30ml and I could still see the dot. So my CYA was as low as 20ppm or less. Now, the week before I did add about 4 inches of water to the pool, but I can’t imagine that would cause that much drop. So on Sunday I added 13oz of stabilizer to a sock and placed in the skimmer. It dissolved in about 4 hours but I still ran the pump for 24 hours. I went out to test again a little earlier today and it’s still at 30ppm. So my questions I guess are is this drop something to be alarmed about, and is the fact that stabilizer I added didn’t seem to have any effect unusual? Don’t want to add too much at once.
You're good. 13oz gets you 8.5 ppm CYA. Under 30 is sketchy at best to read. A 15, for example, might look like none or 20. You just don't know what it is until it's a solid 30. So you added 8.5 and have 30 now. All is well. 
With regards to the CYA drop, it's been crazy at times here with the rain this season. We're helping someone else on LI who had 100+ CYA and is down to almost 1/3 from a few big storms and backwashing. So your drop isn't alarming at 50%.

OMG that is a heck of a drop. But just to clear up any confusion, my CYA isn’t 30pmm, just that’s the lowest number on the tube. Ahhhh. Ok. It seemed it was now 30 after the add. Give it a couple of days before adding more. It doesn't always show up right away.
Pay closer attention the the FC in the meantime as it might go quicker with the low CYA.
