That CC level is concerning. FC is falling at least. Down, what, 14 ppm in 24 hours? I’m sure PS has a plan for you.FC dropped to 30

I read it all again. Do I have to let FC drop before using Metal Out?Test spots for copper to confirm.
Read the article on getting the copper off the walls and sequestered...must do that first.
Then I'd do a no drain water exchange...section 6.

Did you test to confirm what made the stain?I read it all again. Do I have to let FC drop before using Metal Out?
Dry acid test was inconclusive to my eyes, so I ordered some Metal Magic and did a test and it did remove the stain slightly in the 5 minute test and totally in the 15 minute sponge test. The stains are difficult to see and splotchy and almost impossible to photograph, so it's subjective.Did you test to confirm what made the stain?

Is there a way to speed up the fall? Pool season will be halfway over by the time the FC is safe for swimmers at this rate.Great, let your FC fall and use the Fas-dpd to test. You can use 5ml sample, each drop = 1FC. This will save reagent. When you get down close to 1-3, then go back to 10ml samples and 1 drop = .5 FC.
You are safe to swim with FC between minimum FC and SLAM level for your CYA. Your CYA is 70, so if FC is > 5 and less than 28, AND you can see the bottom at the deepest part of the pool, you are safe to swim.Is there a way to speed up the fall?
