Tested about 1.5 hrs after I added in the CL.

22.5... not sure it it's the algae eating or something else?

Gonna test once more before bed. But I'm running low on CL.

This is what the robot picked up this evening;

I'll take a picture of the light tomorrow.

If there are no open holes in the ladder, I don't need to worry about it except to scrub the outside?

I tested it once more b4 I went to bed. I think I goofed. About 38 CL. Maybe I didn't wait for the big batch a few hours ago to mix in enough and it should have been re tested much latter. Darnit.

Sure. I'm extra and got one of these brushes (link). Figure out a way to get some brush, or some twine with a weight on one end and a rag on the other and pull it through the tubes to break the algae biofilm in the tubes.
 
Lights gotta come out. There are two silver rings. The outer one has a whole bunch of screws, don't touch them. The inner ring, closest to the actual light has one screw at the top. Take that one out and the light will swing out at the top, then lift slightly and it should come free. You want to scrub the back of the light and insight the niche.

Water is 70 degrees. Lol.

This isn't gonna be fun.

I ordered the brush. I went to the local hardware places and they couldn't replicate anything like it.

I'll leave the ladder out until I clean it thoroughly.

Absent the light, still keep the CL level at 28?

I backwashed this morning. Hopefully progress is being made.
