Yes, second motor in 4 years. Local pool shop and coming over Monday.Sounds like a motor bearing is failing.
How old is the motor?
That motor was already replaced at least once. Who replaced the motor?

So pump can be bad as well?Probably bad bearings from a seal leak.
Check which impeller you have.
Impeller......Total HP required.
073126.........0.95
073127.........1.25
073128.........1.65
073129.........2.20
073130.........2.60
073131.........3.45
Probably time to consider going to an IntelliFlo pump.
So pump can be bad as well?
Thanks.Your "pump" consist of two sections - the wet end volute which is almond color on your pump and the motor. There are seals that keep water from leaking from the volute into the motor.
The likely reason your bearings are going are either bad seals or the motor that was installed previously was not the correct HP for the impeller in the pump.

Thanks.
Pool mech coming tomorrow.
The motor is the right HP from what I saw, read etc. i just died now.
So can new seals be added to pump part?
Trying to avoid as much repair or nee pump if I can. Moving in 4 years and don’t want to spend so much. Would love a InteliFlo like my last house, but I don’t have a computer board, etc installed on this one. Just a timer. So not sure who I would program speeds
Yeah I saw that. Might bite the bullet and try to install myselfA new pump seal should be installed with a new motor. There are different quality pump seals. See http://www.ussealmfg.com/pdfs/Use-The-Right-Seal-For-Your-Pool-and-Spa-Pumps.pdf

Most IntelliFlo pumps have a built inc ontrol panle that you can control and program speeds. No other control system is required.
It is not hard. Buy the top of the line SCS/Commercial/Residential seal for your pump. On my Superflo, I started with the least expensive, was a problem. Tried the better option, it too was a problem. Finally bought the top of the line SCS/Commercial/Residential...that thing worked flawlessly.Yeah I saw that. Might bite the bullet and try to install myself
