Loud noise coming from pump or motor

Sounds like a motor bearing is failing.
How old is the motor?
That motor was already replaced at least once. Who replaced the motor?

Probably bad bearings from a seal leak.
Check which impeller you have.
Impeller......Total HP required.

Probably time to consider going to an IntelliFlo pump.

Your "pump" consist of two sections - the wet end volute which is almond color on your pump and the motor. There are seals that keep water from leaking from the volute into the motor.
The likely reason your bearings are going are either bad seals or the motor that was installed previously was not the correct HP for the impeller in the pump.

The motor is the right HP from what I saw, read etc. i just died now.
So can new seals be added to pump part?
Trying to avoid as much repair or nee pump if I can. Moving in 4 years and don’t want to spend so much. Would love a InteliFlo like my last house, but I don’t have a computer board, etc installed on this one. Just a timer. So not sure who I would program speeds

It is not hard. Buy the top of the line SCS/Commercial/Residential seal for your pump. On my Superflo, I started with the least expensive, was a problem. Tried the better option, it too was a problem. Finally bought the top of the line SCS/Commercial/Residential...that thing worked flawlessly.
Update: t was the motor and just had it replaced for now. Cheaper option as the IntelliFlo was $2k installed.
It is running and works great. Seems quieter than last motor. When this one fails, I will install a IntelliFlo.
