For Sale: Stenner Pump and Tank

Hi all,

I have a Stenner E20PHG 71S7 peristaltic pump with a 15-gallon tank that was in use inside for about a year as part of a hydrogen peroxide dosing system to remove iron from well water. I ended up switching to an ozonation system which was worked much better for that purpose, and now have the pump and tank to get rid of. I know some of you folks use these for chlorine dosing. These are ~$500 new. If someone wants the pump for $275 or the tank and pump for $300, let me know. Thought I'd offer it here before listing it on eBay. I'm happy to pack and ship it to you if you'll just cover the actual shipping cost.

Sure thing. Just to a generic Katy ZIp Code it says 37.70 by UPS ground which is the cheapest among UPS, FedEx and USPS. Also note that you'll need to get a pump tube for use with chlorine, which you can get on Amazon for $29. I had one that I used with peroxide, but it was pretty worn when I pulled the system, so I didn't keep it (you are supposed to replace them every year as a maintenance item so they don't break and leak chemicals all over your floor).

I know you can get pump tubes that are compatible woth MA, and I've seen members who have done acid dosing with a Stenner, but I don't know what they use for controls. Maybe @MyAZPool would have some thoughts?

Yes Stenners work great for MA. 15 gallon tank might be overkill.

My Stenner for MA uses 3gpd santoprene tube. Just over an hour daily using intermatic timer. MA is diluted 50/50 with water. It kept ph very balanced this past summer.

Make sure the injection point is downstream of any equipment

Yes. Make sure you put a hose in it and flush it for a while to get all the chlorine residuals out. Replace all the hose, including the pinch tube in the pump.

It's never had chlorine in it - only hydrogen peroxide, which breaks down to water and oxygen, so you should be just fine.
