You forgot the exception to rule 6.. If rule 10, No Splashing, is invoked Rule 6 does not apply.
Yes but unfortunately the stubbed toe clause that preempts droppage is always in effect. You forgot the exception to rule 6.. If rule 10, No Splashing, is invoked Rule 6 does not apply
What's the point of having VSF pumps if only 2 speeds are available?
Why do you say you only have 2 speeds with your IntelliCenter?011056
But not with the app? There's Pool and Pool Hi available for scheduled pump speeds. I know the speed within those can be set but it is not obvious how to have more than two scheduled pump speeds. Why do you say you only have 2 speeds with your IntelliCenter?
Those are controllable using the RS-485 comm link.

I really only need three but only get two.
I want a slow speed for general circulation and salt generation at low power usage, a medium speed morning and evening each day before and after sunrise and sunset, respectively, with the lights on for show and finally a high speed run for an hour or so to do better cleaning.
I want more automation than is offered though.
I also don't like it being cloud based, reliant on their servers and subject to potential recurring charges for access in the future.
Funny you should mention this. I'm Sammy2 on this forum for Vera Controllers, now owned by EZLO. There's a Vera Plugin for the nodejs pool controller that I'm looking into incorporating.Look at nodejs pool controller then.

Many here may be familiar with the amazing project of @tagyoureit for controlling the Pentair Intelli-line of products. It takes the rs485 serial information and allows it to be digested in various ways. Not being very technical, I've struggled a bit with it on my Intelliflo, so I was hoping...www.troublefreepool.com
I can think of quite a few things I can do with this now and have some playing to do! THANK YOU!I don't know what circuits you have programmed but it sounds like you just need to create another circuit called 'pool medium' and associate that with another pump speed that's between pool and pool hi.

Each feature circuit can be associated with a pump speed.
You do this in the pumps tab. You can have up to 8 circuits associated with a different pump speed.

I just wish it was local and not reliant on internet connectivity or the status of a cloud server. Do you know if the settings and schedules etc are at least stored locally?
I'd like to access it directly at its local IP Address. Is that possible?Yes, your programming is stored on your panel. The IntelliCenter can be run without any network connection using the Outdoor Control Panel (OCP) and Indoor Control Panel (ICP).
The Pentair server is just a relay for communicating with the panel from outside your local network.
The panel does not have a web server to present a UI from an IP address. So you have to go through the app UI in local mode or the IntelliCenter2 web server.I'd like to access it directly at its local IP Address. Is that possible?
You just need to enter the IP address for the Intellicenter, no passcode is needed, unless you set up a passcode. In either location, the 'connect to local system' in the upper right corner, or expanding the 'local systems' tab, either one does not require a passcode.
