I just downloaded the app (Android), and set up my pool information. But when I try to enter the results of a water test they don't get saved. Back at the homescreen the latest test is blank no matter what I do.
When entering test values it will suggest corrective action, but there's no Save button that I can see, and the results are simply dropped.

Or is this the expected behavior?

but I'm guessing that's a fast function to calculate a fix.
It is. In the overview screen, touch each parameter to go to a calculation screen. The recommended level is simply a starting point, each target is a Range, so be ware that if you are in Range, there is no action needed -- except adding chlorine every day to keep the FC at or above Target level.

+1. The lower side of the acceptable FC range is ok today...... if you landed there after losing yesterday's dose and remained free and clear above minimum. But low target range is an *end point*, not a start point. (y)

Pool Math is assuming you are using it to dose back to high target, or even a bit over, to be well covered until tomorrow.
