We just purchased this pool and on initial start up after backwashing and rinsing, we keep getting a low flow 90 error. Everything is hooked up as it should. We are good getting flow out and in. We took the electrodes and soaked them in vinegar and put them back in and still same error. Going to try customer support tomorrow morning but wondering if anyone here can help or give suggestions on what the cause might be or have a solution?

Welcome to TFP.

Did you reverse the in and out connections on the SWG?

Let us know what customer support says.

Hi! So switch up the hoses from the in and out even though we have great flow out the jet and great flow into the skimmers? I just want to make sure this is what you are referring to. I’m calling support tonight so hopefully we have a solution ASAP as my sons birthday party is Saturday! Thank you!

I am suggesting you check that you have the hoses connected to the correct ports.

Customer support says the titanium electrode is probably bad so they are shipping out a new one. Problem is, my water is turning green and it will take a couple days for the part to get here. Can I add algaecide and shock without the pump running to hopefully have the pool ready for Saturday? It’s my sons 16th birthday Saturday and of course we are suppose to have a pool party for it. He’s so bummed!

No algaecide! Use Pool Math to determine how much liquid chlorine (aka plain laundry bleach) to add to raise your free chlorine by 5 ppm. Add this amount each day. And keep the pump running on your normal schedule.

If this is a new fill, you should also add enough stabilizer (cyanuric acid, CYA) to reach 30 ppm for now. This will help maintain your FC level, protecting it from burnoff by the sun.

Once you get your SWG working again, you can raise your CYA to 70-80 to keep your SWG from having to work as hard.
