Water bonder

Hello, I could use some advice about my water bonder. I have it plumbed in my pump inlet line. It it about 1 ft below grade. I currently have a 8" black corrugated pipe around it just so it is accessible.

My question is this. I'm getting ready to have the equipment pad poured and wondering if I need to keep the water bonder accessible, or if I can cover it with concrete. Do they ever leak or need repair?

It's a small piece of copper sticking into the pipe. While it's not going to be an issue anytime soon, it's only a matter of time. Here's what they did for mine which is also below grade.
