Pentair Intellibright 5G Failure

Hello

I have a 2016 Pentair Intellibright that has failed. Having done some reading, I guess I should be happy it has lasted this long... 2 questions

1) has anyone successfully used the Florida Sunseeker LED upgrade kit and had it integrate with a screen logic controller?

2) Am I correct in understanding that pentair will not ship parts to me? My pool builder has been slow to respond, so I am looking at sourcing a new driver. Leslie's wants $619 for the repair kit which includes a new driver board and a gasket. However there are none in stock. Pentair part number 619818Z. Any thoughts on where to source the kit in the next couple of days? Kids Party Friday night...

While you have had no replies I have seen posts from satisfied Florida Sunseeker customers.

I don’t think Pentair sells direct to retail customers.

Figured I would close the loop. Parts arrived. Install was easy. For sure a simple DIY fix. We’ll see how long it lasts.

What light did you go with as a replacement?

The factory pentair kit. The part number is in my first post. I had zero issues with the light for 6 seasons. Hopefully will have similar luck this go round. The sun seeker product is like $350 and I wasn’t sure it would be seamless. The pentair part was easy peasy.
