Opened my pool and I was missing one Hayward jet for my stairs and I was also missing the nylon ring for the other one. I herd if the jets are not properly installed it can cause water to leak out threw the air line and cause water loss, is that true??

Shouldn't be a problem temporarily if the spa isn't used. Water would not likely be pushed out the air line.
