Hello new friends... I’m a new pool owner with a brand new salt water pool and my pool builder has ghosted me. I am currently gathering information reading Manuals, threads, YouTube and anything else I can to educate myself on proper care and maintenance of my new pool. I have an aquapure 1400 salt cell that intermittently gives me a “no flow” reading on the panel. Most thread I have read are dated so I know this problem is not new. I have done all the obvious things, clean skimmers, filters etc but still get this no flow. I had my salt cell set at 60% and just yesterday changed it to 100% trying anything to get the no flow to go away. So far since I have changed it to 100% I have not had the “no flow” on the panel. Which has me wondering and it might be a dumb question but I’m gonna ask anyway. If I have the cell set at 60% and the cell is resting or reversing will I automatically get the “no flow” on the panel? Or when the filter pump is on should it always say flow regardless of what percentage the cell is set at? Thanks for your help.

Correct.

Changing the % setting has no effect on the flow.

What model pump do you have? If it is a VS pump increase its RPM by 100 or 200 RPMs.
