Stumbled on to TFP from Reddit. New to this whole pool thing since moving to FL back in October. Feel like I’ve got a good handle on the hardware, but pretty lost when it comes to chemicals.
Overall, I think we’ve been pretty lucky. Fended off one algae attack, and our water is generally clear and swimable. Can’t help but feel there’s a better way than just what the local pool shop tells me, though… and I want to actually understand it, not just nod my head and hand them cash.
Anyway, feeling cautiously optimistic here. When I’m not chilling in the pool, I’m probably playing music, snuggling one of our rescue pups, doing IT stuff, grilling, or something motorcycle related.
