Greetings TFP folks! We've been swimming for almost 3-weeks and am nearing the ability start using a Robot. I've been on the wating list with the vendor this forum promotes; but was losing faith in my ability to get one in time [maybe a little impatient, too]. So, by chance, I searched for a Robot on Home Depot's website and found they had an E30 in stock. Because it has the 50' cord and was a Dolphin/Maytronics product, I thought I'd put in an order for it. Well, it arrived in 4-days!
I have an Gunite Pool which is 20x40 and 7' deep. DiamondBrite with Quartz. Also, large 7x11 spa and 10x11 tanning ledge.
Before I unbox it, I wanted to see what you all thought of the E30. Should I wait for an Active 30 or another model with phone connectivity [I do read no one really uses the BT], or is this a good enough model to get me through the next few years? Before asking, I looked on this topic, but was unable to find any good [or bad] information on the E30. Anyone have some first [2nd] hand knowledge that they care to share? Thank you - - Shannon
