Help Estimating New Pool Size

Hey everyone, I’m quite exactly sure how many gallons is in my pool under construction. The dimensions are attached.

I’ve run these dimensions through a calculator which gave me about 17,300 gallons. What I’m concerned about though is the sizable splash pad that is very shallow. Should I stick with that 17,300 gallon figure or should I subtract a few hundred (or more)?

Start at 17,000 and go from there... you can test with chlorine levels..

using the 25ml sample size do a FC test.. say it says 5FC, in poolmath target FC 6 and add that much to the pool.. wait 30 minutes and test FC level..

Is it at 6? if it is your good, if it is 5.5 you have more water if it is 6.5 you have less water

Before you start filling, note the reading on your water meter. When finished filling, take another reading and make an appropriate adjustment for routine household water use. You'll get a very accurate pool volume.

Do you have a utility smart meter that connects to the internet? You might be able to get data points and calculate your pool volume from that.
