Robot owners with existing manual suction/pressure setups: Are you even manually or spot cleaning anymore?

I've got a Maytronics S200 clone (Explorer E30) on order to replace my aging suction Poolvergnuegen cleaner. Can't wait!

I guess I'll see how it performs this season but I'm hoping I can just get rid of all the dang hoses, leaf canister, and Milliard manual 19" vacuum head I attach to the end of the pole? As always YMMV I suppose. I'm guessing the only time I'd ever want to do a manual clean again is right after a storm dumps a ton of debris or we have a last minute pool party show up and I need to do a bit of spot cleaning? Hmm. Still seems it'd be easier to just drop the robot in and in under 2 hours presto it's clean again. Knowing my luck as soon as I got rid of all the manual stuff I'd need it. I know I could have gone with a control enabled robot but the reviews make them sound very temperamental and clunky.

So do you robot owners manual clean much now a days?

I used to have a Poolvergnuegen as well, and now have a Warrior SE (S200 clone). The robot is significantly better. I don't even own a vacuum.
