Looking for advice on inground vinyl pool lights

Hello fellow pool owners. This is my first pool build and my first time posting on TFP. I am undecided on pool lights for my new inground vinyl pool. After a lot of research and reading I am concerned with the short life of these expensive LED lights that people are talking about. I did not have the pool kit include any openings for the lights so I'm guessing I am limited to a small niche light or nicheless light. I read that Florida Sunseekers is a decent light with a 2 year warranty and my pool kit company suggested a new light from Select Pool Products called Argon. The only concern I have with the Argon is it is only 15 watt/ 1000 lumens. My pool is 20 x 40 vinyl lined and I would like to use multi color lights. I suspect I will need a minimum of 2 lights.

Any suggestion or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Now, I'm considering this as well. I'm awaiting a call back from CMP. My installer quoted for 5 Hayward UCL 320. Perhaps I start off with these instead, but that means I have to do the leg work for my pool builder.

Does anyone know if these work with the Omnilogic controller?

For winterization these lights require the pool water drained below the fixture. Since this is a new build, instead of doing the Hayward UCL 320 install, use a 1.5" PVC fitting for the Brilliant Wonder lights. This would then allow a thread in 1.5' PVC cap for winter. Does that make sense?

Finally, if the Brilliant Wonders lights are water cooled, what happens to the water that enters the fitting? Is the pipe sealed at some point along the conduit back to the transformer? Or, how far up the conduit is the water allowed to go.

No.

Or, how far up the conduit is the water allowed to go.

Up to the water level of the pool. That is why a pool light junction box is required to be, I think it is at least 4", above the water level fo the pool.
