Options for Resurfacing Large Pool Deck

Hello. I'm brand new here but ran across the site in researching pool deck options. We have about 2,000 square feet of deck and patio that we need to get refinished. The concrete itself is in pretty good shape but there's a little bit of stain that needs to be sanded off. (When we first had the pool installed we couldn't afford colored concrete - an extra $3,000 on a project that had already run over budget.) I researched products & ended up staining the concrete myself with a product called Soycrete. Anyway, there is some residual product left. We had one company come out & quote $18k for Kool Deck to be applied - nothing fancy, just one color. I thought this was pretty high and have been looking into other companies. One uses Spray Deck and my husband is worried about the durability....apparently the Kool Deck company said it wouldn't need to be resealed for 5-7 years & was offering a really long warranty period. But it seems like the acrylic products are just as durable as the Kool Deck, at least from what I've been reading. Likewise, it didn't seem like there was much difference in the cooling effect between the products at least according to some? Does anyone have any recommendations? I did run across a product called Graniflex which seemed really interesting but can't seem to find a local company that uses it. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Thanks for the help!

I’m bumping you up for responses and asking for a photo of the area!

We bought a house that had the pool installed in 2005 and Spray Deck was put on the concrete at install for $3.25 a square foot. I would say the spray deck lasts a long time. We only have a few small spots where it needs touch up.
we recently added about 188 sqft of concrete so not I am looking at solutions to match the existing. Of course my wife says we need to repaint everything so it matches. From what I have researched the existing area will just need cleaned and a new coat of Stain/Sealer added Southcrete™ Color Guard Concrete Stain / Sealer | SGM, Inc. .
I would say Spray deck is a good product and lasts. My only complaint it there is not a lot of info for the DIYers. Even the texturing looks pretty simple to do and for much cheaper than a company doing it. We have about 1500 sqft to do and one quote was about $5k. Another guy that is booked said he would spray the new concrete for me and just sell me the stain/sealer so I could paint it myself. I am thinking the area needing texture is only 188 sqft so I might just do it all myself if I can find somewhere to buy it local.
All this to say I would not hesitate to get Spray Deck. I have been quoted anywhere from $4-$7 a sqft for Spraydeck here in SC.

I Just had this done as well. We are in South Carolina and it was $4 a sq ft. I probably could have done it myself, but the wife didn't like that idea...

Ours used SGM as well in the Kahlua Cream Color
